Job Description
RCC Education Pastor
Overview
Redeemer Christian Church’s mission is to save the lost and make them disciples of Christ. We invite pastoral candidates with a similar ministry vision to consider applying prayerfully. Redeemer Christian Church started as the English ministry of the Korean Christian Church and is in the process of taking up more ownership over the education ministry for both churches. The primary focus of this role is the youth group ministry (6th to 12th grade) while also providing pastoral leadership and support to the Children’s ministry staff. Currently, this position reports to the Senior Pastor of the Korean Christian Church. Although the Redeemer Christian Church is non-denominational, our belief is mainly based on reformed theology.
The ideal candidate for this position is a spiritually mature man/woman of God who has a passion for seeing whole families integrate faith into everything they do. They must love teens and desire to partner with their parents to see faith flourish in the lives of both. The church is becoming increasingly diverse from its Korean background. Therefore, English is the only language requirement for this role, but some familiarity with Korean is a plus.
