First Entry, an Introduction

Greetings and God Bless!

This is the first of many blog entries to come, Lord willing! To start off, I thought it would be good to take this first entry to state what I am hoping to accomplish by writing and posting here.

As a pastor, my first priority is to equip church members to do the work of the ministry (Eph 4:12). As you have often heard me say, "I am not here for you to help ME do ministry, but I am here to help YOU do ministry." This is the greatest joy of every pastor, to see his/her church members living their lives for the sake of God's kingdom, loving the Lord more than anything else, and loving one another in a committed and sacrificial way.

My aim in writing this blog is for it to be an extension of my equipping ministry to you. I will write about many things, but the common purpose will be the same, I will write in order to help, encourage, educate, the people of God, that they might live as followers of Jesus all the time. I will do my best to try and post entries as close as I can to weekly, so please continue to check in!

I also would love to engage in correspondence about anything I write here. Email me and let's talk!
